Perpetual Planet: Heroes of the Oceans is a showcase of the wonder of the sea, of the living laboratory we all live in and of the vital science being carried out beneath the waves...。大夏仙师陈锋隐居山林，被厉君瑜请下山救治其家人，遵从师命手持两份婚书下山。在阴差阳错之中，却被厉君瑜退婚，与另一位婚约人苏明月相识相知。并助苏家脱离陈鹏飞设计的圈套，但苏家除了苏明月对其信任外，其他人都十分看不起陈锋。。一群游客前往非洲探险，遭遇了当地的土著。土著们试图对这群不速之客表示友好，但不识抬举的游客们拒绝了他们所赠送的礼物，这一举动彻底将土著们惹恼，他们抓住并囚禁了游客梦，用残忍的方法将他们一个接着一个的杀死，当最后一名游客眯起眼睛等待死亡降临之时，杀戮却停止了。
然而，这却并不是他的幸运，反而是不幸，因为土著们想到了一个新的“游戏”，可以好好的和他玩上一玩。就这样，这名游客在茫茫的非洲大草原上展开了他的逃亡之旅，紧紧跟在他身后的，是手持利刃的凶残土著，在极其恶劣的自然条件之下，他能否凭借着自己的智慧，逃出升天呢？。
