2014年6月底，在《希德尼娅的骑士》一期动画最终话的片尾公布了二期动画《希德尼娅的骑士：第九行星战役》制作决定，并将在11月举办二期动画第一、二话的先行上映会，上映会门票将在动画第一、二卷中限量附赠。此外，原作中的重要角色“白羽衣紬”也将在第二期动画中登场；而原作者贰瓶勉的早期作品《BLAME！》亦会在第二期动画中以剧中剧的形式动画化。。A scientist performing illegal stem cell research is trying to find a cure for cancer. After the transfer of shark cells is made into a human test subject, the ill man gets well again and it looks like the treatment was a success. But the experiment goes wrong, and the man transforms into monster: half-shark & half-human.
