“谢广坤”摇身一变成辽西镇穷困刁民杨二正，他是全村公认的“烂泥”，早年丧妻后独自抚养女儿长大，好吃懒做喜欢在村里搅和是非，仗着亲哥是村长到处蹭吃蹭喝，对待同乡阴阳怪气，因此而引发了一系列啼笑皆非的故事。。The 16 years old amateur photographer Charles accidentally takes a photo of Laura - and falls in love with her, when he develops the picture. He finds out that she works as singer in a bar, but is about to be thrown out.
