Can he,...。本作は、深川所属の芸能プロダクション「株式会社テンカラット」が設立25周年という節目に熊澤監督とタッグを組み、制作を企画したもの。『ユリゴコロ』や『ごっこ』でメガホンを取った熊澤監督が、自身の小説『おもいで写眞』（幻冬舎文庫）を実写映画化。“人が生きる豊かさと年を重ねる美しさ”をテーマに、夢に敗れ故郷へ戻った主人公・結子（深川）が祖父の残した写真館で遺影写真を撮り始め、その中で成長していく様を描き出す。。
