1982年，英国传奇重金属乐队Spinal Tap摇滚乐团红极一时。电影导演马蒂（罗伯·莱纳 Rob Reiner 饰）是Spinal Tap乐团的一位忠实粉丝。Spinal Tap乐团要来美国举行一次复出巡演，马蒂则为Spinal Tap乐团拍摄随行纪录片。本部仿纪录片刻意杜撰出一个英国摇滚乐团Spinal Tap，活灵活现的刻画出了摇滚乐团台上台下表里不一的嘴脸，对当代摇滚乐做出了尖锐的讽刺和嘲讽。
本片由罗伯·莱纳自编自导自演之作。影片中的电影音乐均由演员们亲自演奏创作而成。。Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty. But on top of the excruciating hardship of the work, they also have to fear an attack from the army.。
