The story is set in the 1930s, somewhere in the mountains in Romania. It centres on Simion, a ranger who lives like a hermit in the middle of the forest. One day, he stumbles upon a beaten-up woman, Irina, and tries to find out who has hurt her. He also tries to stay away from her but fails.。梅的丈夫终日忙于应酬，留下年轻美貌的她夜夜独守空房，独自打发时光。一次街头偶遇，梅邂逅了英俊潇洒的峰，两人一见钟情，但忌于传统礼教，梅克矜持地拒绝了峰的帮助。谁料峰却对她念念不忘，并展开了疯狂的追逐，他们是否可以克制住自己的愿望，等待他们的又将是如何的结果？。
