负伤致残的洪峰被组织调往金坑任县肃反科长，刚上任就接手一桩大案：红军驻金坑兵站会计温世杰，在站长刘勇、游击队特勤分队长张长球与白区"走私"商人接头交易时，携带从红军银行提取的大笔钱款失踪。为保障前线后勤补给并维护信誉，县委书记温大仔命洪峰与刘法蓉组成专案组，立下限期破案的军令状。洪峰等人经勘察与内查外调，设计出"引蛇出洞"之计。。Judge William "Billy" Priest lives in a very patriotic (Confederate) southern town.
