梁志初与梁志迪是一对同被收养的兄弟。然而阿初天性凶残顽劣，自幼就欺凌弟弟。且对养父母不敬，相反阿迪勤力工作，孝顺双亲，但当阿初出现在他们家里时，自然会带来暴戾与争吵。阿初曾经毒打妻子，意图把三岁的女儿抛落街头，终于因贩毒被判入狱，出狱后，又为梁家带来灾难，终于激发起阿迪弑兄的决心……。Back Stage is a 1919 comedy, one of the last films that Buster Keaton would appear with Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle before they went their separate ways, Keaton would get his own studio, and Arbuckle got into feature length films.
