两父子谢峻（卢惠光饰）、谢飞（谢苗饰）号称是世界上武功最高的父子，果不其然，他们勇闯虎穴打败独角猩猩兽，救出了被关在山中的小公主。其实只是他们的一场英雄美梦。一日，谢父正在教授村民功夫时，突然接到师公的求救信号。为了满足师公的心愿，谢飞和父亲谢峻只好偷渡来到香港。当两人前去解救时，发现师公已被关进精神病院。不仅如此，父子二人还莫名其妙地被卷入一起抢劫珠宝杀人案中。在警察的追捕中，父子失散。
