1836年1月9日皮埃尔·拉斯纳尔因为谋杀和偷窃而走上了断头台。之前在等待审判期间，他给警官阿拉尔写下了自己的回忆录。他还请求阿拉尔照顾艾尔米娜这个小姑娘，他做她的监护人已有十多年了。在影片的闪回中，在他自己所描写的监狱情况，还有阿拉尔和艾尔米娜读完回忆录后的调查，连同回忆录出版后其他人的反映，观众看到了拉斯纳尔的童年生活：先是做小流氓，然后是盗窃，第一次谋杀，第一次服兵役，接着引诱一位公主，还有与他有过风流史最后挨着他身边死去的一个青年男子阿弗里尔。。距离雷克斯和梅乐迪上次尝试LSD已经过去八年。这一次，迷幻之旅并没有如期而进行。在回到现实的旅程中，夫妻两人开始重新审视生活、工作以及梦想之间的平衡。 本片获得2018多伦多电影学院电影节最佳剪辑奖，入围2018年北京国际短片联展野草莓奇幻单元，第五届南瓜奇幻电影节。。The story of the Korean War is told through powerful color imagery, dramatic musical score and sound-scape.
