有缘结识翩翩少侠封俊杰（狄龙）后，雷力重拾生活的信心，并说好在封俊杰赴过龙异之的约后两人一起去过归隐的生活。不幸的是封俊杰像多年前的雷力一样也中了龙异之的诡计，奋力抵抗一番终因不敌敌手身亡，得知消息的雷力大悲，矢志用左臂练就一身好功夫为好兄弟报仇。。
