A stately home robbery takes an evil turn one night when a gang of young thieves are caught by the owners of the house and then hunted across the estate for the proprietor's entertainment。千金小姐劉貞蓮（林玉）不幸身患痲瘋，其父劉員外（羅維）招贅窮書生李孝文（凌波）為婿，意圖賣瘋傳毒。貞蓮將真相和盤托出，孝文感於貞蓮真情，決意回鄉稟明母親，迎接貞蓮返家。劉員外發現貞蓮瘋疾未去，惟恐敗壞家風，一怒將貞蓮鎖入石屋。貞蓮萬念俱灰，竟狂飲毒酒，以圖自盡……。
