大导演马丁·西科塞斯在制作鲍勃·迪伦、滚石乐队的纪录片之后，他将目光转向了乔治·哈里逊，这位一直被约翰·列侬光芒掩盖的披头士的吉他手。本片片长达3个半小时，采访了Eric Clapton、特里·吉列姆、Eric Idle, George Martin, 保罗·麦卡特尼, 小野洋子、林格·斯塔尔等诸多牛人，挖掘了哈里逊的人生与职业生涯，包括后来单飞，做电影制片、搞慈善等等。。牵牛第一次与她邂逅，就毫无浪漫感可言。在地铁上她就语出惊人，喝得醉醺醺的她大声训斥不自觉给老人让座的人，吐完之后就软趴趴地倒了下来。善良的牵牛上前接住，于是就只好背着她到旅馆投宿了。但是好心不一定有好报，牵牛正在好好洗澡时就被冲进来的警察带走了。
