延敏以假身份与一位军官通信。他们采用的是十分古老的飞鸽传书方式，延敏非常乐在其中。事实上，这名军官早已洞悉到了她的谎言，依然与延敏保持联系。通信有5年之久了，两人正准备见面的时候，延敏却没有出现。
难过十分的军官回到了与延敏通讯时居住的小镇，寻找着对方的点滴。期间常常有信鸽给他送来勉励的话语。随后，他在书店里遇到了一名女孩，似曾相识的感觉令他困惑不已。临别之际，他再次来到这间书店，向女孩诉说着自己的失落与伤心。
