在一个偏僻乡村，马帝家大女儿17岁的女孩爱娃（Doroteea Petre 饰）正经历一段美好的爱情，她的男友亚历山大（Ionut Becheru 饰）是邻居秘密警察（Grigore Gonta 饰）的儿子。两人无意中打碎了教学楼走廊内的齐奥塞斯库的雕像，最终导致爱娃被送往工读学校。在那里，她结识了渴望自由的男孩安德烈（Cristian Vararu 饰），两人甚至制定了一个逃出罗马尼亚的计划。
