早在八百年前，人类的欲望催生出21枚核心硬币。凡是得到硬币的人，必将获得巨大的力量。2011年6月，德国图林根州，鸿上基金会的会长鸿上光生率领探险队深入图林根州某森林的腹地，经过不断地勘测和挖掘，终于找到了核心硬币的埋藏点，却无意间解开了尘封数百年的封印，而且也使森林和东京的新宿发生对调。伴随着巨大的变动，无数中世纪士兵从山洞中走出，展开残酷的杀戮。偶然路过附近的火野映司与泉信吾卷入混乱，与武士们展开战斗。在武士的身后，是有着强大能力的炼金师盖拉，她复活后发誓成为新世界的主宰——奥兹（OOO）。
