故事講述陳方行（黃又南飾）逝世後，其好友思冬（陳泂江飾）出來他的葬禮，只有十人的小葬禮舉行期間，坐在思冬旁邊的畢念夏（岑樂怡飾）發了短訊給陳方行，未幾，竟收到「已讀不回」的雙藍剔。另一方面，思冬因為被念夏深深吸引，借追查真相之名，約會對方，而念夏亦因為覺得思冬跟方行兩者很相似，所以對男方的邀請並不抗拒，二人決定以半約會半查案的方式見面，開始約見其他葬禮的出席者，不過查案期間，部份出席葬禮的人竟遭殺害……。孟小军的全家遭遇了一场惨烈的车祸，他们骑的摩托车被卡车撞翻，孟小军受了重伤，年仅4岁的女儿严重脑损伤，而妻子则当场死亡。女儿必须在一周之内做一台昂贵的手术才能保住性命，手术的花费要十二万，作为小县城的修车工，孟小军根本无法在一周之内凑到钱。所以，走投无路的他听从了太平间管理员老张的建议：打算将妻子的遗体卖到农村，与一个刚刚死去的年轻人结成阴婚。
